Maurice Jenoure
Chief Operating Officer
Maurice Jenoure brings with him more than twenty-five years of experience in the foodservice industry and supports the company’s strategy for continued growth in all sectors of the business. His primary responsibilities are operations and new business development.
Prior to Maurice’s arrival at Thompson, he fulfilled the role of Vice President of Operations and Business Development for Sodexho, USA in its Campus Services division. He was the “Product Champion” for their Historically Black Colleges and Universities initiative. His primary responsibilities included strategic selling of new business, account retention, and business growth initiatives. These responsibilities were achieved through the building of coalitions, team development, process management, and managing for results in a competitive environment.
Maurice’s professional career dates back to 1981, when he joined Marriott Corporation as an assistant manager in operations. During the ensuing years, his foundation was established as he accepted a multitude of career challenges in the areas of food production, account director, general manager, district manager, and director for strategic account development.
Maurice is a graduate of the College of Wooster, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1981. Eighteen years later, he returned to school to round out his education and earned a Master of Science in Management Degree from the University of Maryland, University College in December of 2000. Maurice and his family reside in Bowie, Maryland.
