With over 20 years of experience in human resources and labor relations, Lydia joined Thompson Hospitality committed to making it the employer of choice in the industry. As a labor attorney and seasoned human relations professional, Lydia raises the employment function at Thompson Hospitality to a new level. A native of Puerto Rico, she is one more example of our constant pursuit of excellence and diversity.

Lydia successfully led employment strategies in industries ranging from television to information technology, to academia. It is a legitimate commitment to provide the best human resources services and a strong understanding of the law, added to years of managerial experience, that allow her to help us better serve employees with the day to day challenges we all face.

Lydia’s commitment to develop a strong workforce where associates feel valued and respected, added to her enthusiasm and willingness to make every associate successful, are the main driving force you see behind our Human Resources efforts. Lydia holds graduate degrees from the University of Puerto Rico (M.A., Organizational Psychology), Interamerican University (M.S. Criminal Justice) and Washington College of Law at American University (J.D.).
