Food service management and catering experience are required. Provides overall planning, direction of all Dining Functions, to achieve client satisfaction, business development, and profitability. Ensures compliance with Thompson Hospitality policies. Maintains effective customer/client rapport. Assists and develops a comprehensive business plan and operating budget. Communicates on-going and projected status of business plan to appropriate sources. Offers proactive alternatives to address negative deviations.
Reviews and analyzes financial statements, operating reports, and budget variance reports. Initiates action plans to address shortfalls. Establishes and maintains customer/client satisfaction. Conducts/monitors satisfaction surveys/focus groups. Ensures compliance with all safety and sanitation requirements. Complies with all Federal, State, Local and other regulatory guidelines. Ensures compliance to EEO and Affirmative Action Policies. Implements training programs for managers and hourly staff.
Establishes hiring criteria. Promotes effective employee communication, and fair and equitable treatment of all employees. Recognizes importance of effective leadership in meeting the targets set forth in unit’s performance plans. Demonstrates good communication and listening skills with client, customers, and employees.
