Operates a cash register and is our Company’s last contact with the customer.

1. One of the most important jobs in the store. Must greet everyone with a warm feeling and always smile. Has to be neat in appearance. Always treat the customer in a friendly manner. The customer is our number one priority.
2. Never lets a customer leave the restaurant unsatisfied or unhappy. Handles all small complaints, and contacts Manager if there is any question whatsoever.
3. Knows proper ringing-up procedures for guest checks. Keeps the guest checks separate and in numerical order. Assists the servers with the summary sheet. Always check for pricing errors. Knows the proper way to handle an over-ring or under-ring.
4. Gives special attention to all children.
5. Contacts the Manager if the stock at the counter is getting low and needs replacing. 6.) Checks mens' and ladies’ restrooms hourly to make sure they are in proper order and are clean.
6. Keeps the work area and the door windows clean at all times. May be called upon to perform miscellaneous tasks such as to-go counter, assists servers as needed and host/hostess.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
