We're committed to providing students and customers with quality food, great service and a friendly environment. Thompson Hospitality brings its restaurant philosophy to its contract food service division; which is "the customer is number one" whether you are a vice president at a business account or a freshman at a university.

In commemoration of our 10th anniversary in 2002, Thompson Hospitality made a commitment to contribute $1 million over the next 5 years through scholarships and community projects.

Thompson Hospitality's niche is Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Thompson has been successful in contracting with 18 HBCUs. We offer a wide menu selection to each student we serve, including many healthful choices. Thompson Hospitality invests in the facilities and gets involved in the life of the students through scholarships, internships, classes, and opportunities to have our executives speak to student assemblies."


 Focus on Nutrition

Realizing the need to help students make healthier food choices, we are taking action to inform them about the importance of nutrition through flyers and nutrition seminars, and we are trying to continually identify smart choices available in each dining hall we serve.

A registered Dietitian spoke to students at Delaware State University last spring about the importance of healthy eating habits and the dangers some diets and poor food choices present to short and long term health  Educating students about nutrition is crictical and we are making it a priority.
