Marvelous Market partners with the Capital Area Food Bank for Thanksgiving

(Washington, DC – November 5, 2009) This November, Marvelous Market is partnering with the Capital Area Food Bank to collect non-perishable items for residents in need during the Thanksgiving holiday. During the three week-long promotion, all Marvelous Market locations will have a collection box for people to bring in non-perishable items. The collection will start on Thursday, November 5th and run to Wednesday, November 25th.

“Marvelous Market is proud to be a part of the 2009 Capital Area Food Bank collection this Thanksgiving season. As a business, it’s important to us to be involved in helping our community thrive. This program allows us the opportunity to do something good for the community,” said Lisa Bourven, Director of Operations at Marvelous Market.
